Welcome to TwoRidge. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the TwoRidge website located at tworidge.com and all services offered through it. By accessing or using the website and services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use the website or services.

2. Nature of Services
TwoRidge keeps an exact record of where you spent each day of the year, for people who live in two states, so the tax move you made has the proof behind it.
TwoRidge counts and records the days you log in each of your states. Days come only from what you enter: one-tap check-ins, calendar imports, and bulk entries. Each day can carry proof that you upload, such as a receipt, a boarding pass, or a toll statement, and TwoRidge stores that proof with the day it belongs to.
At the end of the year you can export a Residency Record: a dated, organized file of your logged days and their proof, which you can give to your tax professional or keep on hand.
The State-Tax Stakes calculator on this website gives an estimate of the annual state income tax two states might charge, based on the figures you enter and published rates for a single stated tax year. It works without an account.
The free plan includes the day log and running counts for one person and two states, with no time limit. TwoRidge Plus adds the evidence vault, text alerts as a count approaches a threshold you set, calendar import, a second profile for a spouse or partner, and the year-end Residency Record export.
Paid plans renew automatically until canceled. Prices are shown before you subscribe, and you can cancel at any time; access continues through the end of the period you paid for.
3. Services Disclaimer
TwoRidge is a record-keeping service. Nothing on this website or in the service is tax, legal, or financial advice, and using TwoRidge does not create an advisory relationship of any kind.
TwoRidge does not determine your residency or domicile for any purpose. It counts and records the days you log; whether those days establish residency or domicile is decided under the law of each state, and you and your tax professional decide how to use the record.
TwoRidge does not prepare or file tax returns, and it does not represent you in any audit, inquiry, or proceeding before a tax authority.
The State-Tax Stakes calculator provides estimates for tax year 2025 using simplified assumptions that the calculator shows beside its results. Its estimates are not a tax calculation for filing, not a statement of what you owe or would save, and not advice. Consult a qualified tax professional before making decisions based on them.
4. Subscriptions and Cancellation
The free plan has no time limit and does not require a payment method.
TwoRidge Plus costs $89 a year, charged at the start of each yearly term. The price is shown before you subscribe. Your subscription renews each year until you cancel.
You can cancel online from your account settings at any time, with no phone call required. After you cancel, TwoRidge Plus features stay available through the end of the year you paid for, and your account then continues on the free plan.
5. Your Records
The days you log and the proof you upload belong to you. Records from earlier years stay available to you for as long as your account is open, and you can export them at any time while it is open.
You are responsible for the accuracy and completeness of what you log and upload. TwoRidge records what you enter; it does not verify where you were on any day.
6. No Location Tracking or Account Linking
TwoRidge does not track your location in the background and does not ask for continuous location access. It does not connect to or link your bank, brokerage, or card accounts. Days come only from your own check-ins, imports, and uploads.
7. Intellectual Property
All content on the TwoRidge website, including text, graphics, logos, icons, images, and software, is the property of TwoRidge or its content suppliers and is protected by United States and international copyright laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works from, publicly display, or otherwise exploit any content from this website without prior written consent from TwoRidge.
The TwoRidge name and logo are trademarks of TwoRidge. Nothing on this website grants any license or right to use any trademark without the prior written permission of TwoRidge.
8. SMS Messaging: Account Notifications Only
TwoRidge operates an SMS messaging program strictly for account notifications related to your TwoRidge account. TwoRidge does not send promotional, marketing, or advertising messages via SMS. By enrolling in this program, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms:
Program Description: By opting in, you consent to receive recurring automated account notification text messages from TwoRidge at the mobile number you provide, such as threshold alerts on the day counts you log, notices that your Residency Record is ready, verification codes, billing and renewal notices, and replies to your support requests. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of creating an account or making a purchase.
Message Frequency: Message frequency varies.
Message and Data Rates: Message and data rates may apply.
Opting Out and Help: You may opt out of the SMS program at any time by texting the keyword STOP to [INSERT SHORT CODE]. After you send STOP, we will send a one-time message confirming that you have been unsubscribed, and no further messages will be sent. Supported Carriers: Supported carriers include AT&T, T-Mobile, Metro PCS, Verizon Wireless, US Cellular, Google Voice, Cellular One, Cellcom, Cellular South, Interop, and Clearsky. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Privacy: No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing with subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
The TwoRidge website and all services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. TwoRidge does not warrant that the website will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from viruses or other harmful components, and makes no warranties regarding the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of any content on the website.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, TwoRidge disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, TwoRidge, its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, use, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the website or services, whether based on warranty, contract, tort, or any other legal theory.
In no event shall TwoRidge's total liability to you for all claims arising out of or relating to the website or services exceed the total amount paid by you to TwoRidge during the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
11. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New Jersey, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the website or services shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in New Jersey.
12. Changes to Terms
TwoRidge reserves the right to modify or update these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page, and your continued use of the website or services after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. It is your responsibility to review these Terms periodically.
